Oprócz datowania radiowęglowego, Tomasz Goslar prowadził badania naukowe o różnorodnej tematyce z zakresu geochronologii. Ostatnio interesował się zmianami koncentracji radiowęgla w atmosferze w przeszłości, zmianami w cyklu geochemicznym węgla i odtworzeniem zmian klimatu u schyłku ostatniego zlodowacenia. W badaniach wykorzystywał chronologie warwowe osadów jeziornych. Dorobek naukowy T.G. dokumentuje lista publikacji w czasopismach z listy filadelfijskiej.
